چکیده
Sea surface current is a research hotspot in oceanography. Space-borne along-track interferometric synthetic aperture radar (along-track InSAR, ATI) promising sensor for measuring high-resolution sea field, and there no operational system orbit yet. To support future space-borne ATI systems, based on the experimental mode of Gaofen-3 (GF-3) satellite, first observing experiment was conducted Jiaozhou Gulf China, 2019. Meanwhile, SAR observations situ instrument measurements are obtained experiments. The data preprocessed by processor specially developed GF-3 data. Then, extracted M4S mode. retrieved compared with ground-based high frequency wave results show that root mean square error observed satellite less than 0.2 m/s.

Oceanic Variables extracted from Along-Track Interferometric SAR Data
The Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) data are considered to contain the greatest amount of information among various microwave techniques developed for measuring ocean variables from aircraft or satellites. They have the potential of measuring wavelength, wave direction and wave height of the ocean waves. But, it is difficult to retrieve significant ocean wave heights and surface current from con...
متن کاملDirect surface current field imaging from space by along-track InSAR and conventional SAR
Since the SEASAT mission in 1978, spaceborne synthetic aperture radar (SAR) images of ocean scenes have been used successfully for a variety of applications. However, despite the fact that a SAR is a Doppler radar, conventional SAR images do not provide direct information on target velocities, since all Doppler information is normally utilised to obtain the best possible spatial resolution unde...
متن کاملFirst Spaceborne SAR-GMTI Experimental Results for the Chinese Gaofen-3 Dual-Channel SAR Sensor
In spaceborne synthetic aperture radar (SAR) sensors, it is a challenging task to detect ground slow-moving targets against strong clutter background with limited spatial channels and restricted pulse repetition frequency (PRF). In this paper, we evaluate the image-based dual-channel SAR-ground moving target indication (SAR-GMTI) workflow for the Gaofen-3 SAR sensor and analyze the impact of st...

A time-domain simulation of along-track interferometric synthetic aperture radar (AT-InSAR) has been developed to support ocean observations. The simulation is in the time domain and based on Bragg scattering to be applicable for moving ocean surfaces. The time-domain simulation is suitable for examining velocities of moving objects. The simulation obtains the time series of microwave backscatt...
متن کاملMultichannel Along-Track Interferometric SAR Systems: Moving Targets Detection and Velocity Estimation
Along-track interferometric synthetic aperture radar (AT-InSAR) systems are used to estimate the radial velocity of targets moving on the ground, starting from the interferometric phases, obtained by the combinations of two complex SAR images acquired by two antennas spatially separated along the platform moving direction. Since the radial velocity estimation obtained from a single-phase interf...
